Vintage Animal Marcasite Pins

1950s brooch is in excellent order. It shows a Swallow or Swift type of bird on the wing. A romantic message is conveyed in this lovely pin. The Swallow or Swift when used in antique and vintage jewellery says 'I will return'. This vintage brooch is finished in two shades of blue cold enamel and has a marcasite effect decorating the head, tips of wings and forks of the tail.
